Repairs
We will look at your PC or Laptop and give you a cost to repair which will be the total cost unless there are additional parts required for the repair which were not noticed at the time of the quote, you will be told about these before continuing the job with any additional charges. If you choose not to continue then we will only charge you for the work which has been done. If the PC or Laptop is in a home environment we will not charge a call out fee. If it is in a Business environment a callout fee may be charged but not always as this depends on the job and distance travelled.
Modernisation
There are many ways that a PC can be modernised by increasing the Processor or Memory to replacing the Hard drive or Graphics card. A Laptop is more limited in its upgrade ability you can still add more Memory ( providing there are memory slots available) or replace the Hard drive. If we replace the Hard drive it is normally done by cloning the drive so that it works exactly as it did before the change. Some times this is not possible or not required but we will let you know before we proceed with doing this.
